peter carpal tunnel Registered: 13/07/2000 Posts: 4182 Loc: Cambridge, England	Too bad. Is there anything I can do to avoid such mishaps in the future? What should I do (beyond what is stated in the FAQ) if a synch gets interrupted by a system crash and the empeg doesn't get out of the synch loop? Get a power regulator. The failed sync didn't kill your drive. Peter
