Back when I just worked on my own computer I learned the Dvorak layout, mostly for fun, though I was definately faster and more accurate. (YMMV.)

When I started working IT professionally, bouncing from computer to computer, I stayed on qwerty for ease. Odd keyboards are tough enough to move between.
