Yes. The 78c temp is with the fan at the lower speed. The higher speed is just as loud as the original heatsink/fan was, so I don't intend to try that. Also, the heatsink grease I used is Arctic Silver 5.

So how about that 78c core temp? I think that's about as high as it will ever go, that's when it's pushing the video card to its limit. Of course, I anticipate that it will run that way for many hours at a time during gaming sessions.
